Collection and processing of data

Newsletter and Industry Interest Group

We process your contact details (solely your name and email address). These details are collected when you fill in the form for receiving our newsletter or staying updated about the project on our website (www.metroradon.eu) or for joining our industry interest group (in this case also your institution, institutional address and telephone number are processed). We use your personal data only for sending you a newsletter on a regular basis and keeping you informed about (future) project developments. You may unsubscribe this newsletter and have your personal information deleted at any time by sending an email to contact@metroradon.eu.

Forming of an interest group of national authorities and international bodies and associations concerned with radon and the implementation of the EU Basic Safety Standards (Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom)

We process your contact details if you are the professionally engaged in the implementation of the EU Basic Safety Standards (Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom) at your institution or a person responsible for the topic of radon in an international body or association. For the purpose of forming an interest group of national authorities and international bodies and associations your name, institution, institutional address and institutional email address are processed. We use your personal data for sending you a newsletter on a regular basis and keeping you informed about (future) project developments and for the purpose of forming an interest group for stakeholders concerned with the topic of radon and the implementation of the EU Basic Safety Standards concerning radon. You may unsubscribe the newsletter or have your personal information deleted at any time by sending an email to contact@metroradon.eu.

 

The legal basis of our data processing is

  •  you have given consent to the processing of your personal data for the specific purpose of receiving our newsletter and information about the project according to Article 6 Section 1 Subparagraph a GDPA.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, please send an email to contact@metroradon.eu.
Only the project partners (consortium members and project collaborators) have access to your personal data. Your personal information is not released to third parties.

Storage

We will store your personal data until the end of our project and for the preparation of follow-up projects within the framework of the European Metrology Research Programme (EMPIR (European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research) and successor programmes). After the end of 2025, it will be deleted by us as well as all recipients mentioned above.

Your rights

Right to access: You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data held about you and to obtain a copy of it.
Right to rectification: You have the right to have your personal data rectified in the event that your personal data is inaccurate.
Right to erasure: Under certain conditions, you have the right to have your personal data erased without delay. Those conditions are listed in Article 17 of the GDPR.
Right to the restriction of processing: Under certain conditions, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. Those conditions are listed in Article 18 of the GDPR.
Right to object to processing: Under certain conditions, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. Those conditions are listed in Article 21 of the GDPR.
Right to data portability:You have the right to obtain your personal data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format and to have your personal data transferred to another controller upon your request, and where technically feasible insofar as the processing of your personal data relies on your consent or it is necessary for the performance of a contract.
Right to complain to a supervisory authority: Should you believe an infringement of the applicable data protection laws has happened, you have the right to file a complaint before the concerned Data Protection Authority.
Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw your consent to the procession of your personal data insofar as the processing relies on your consent. The legality of processing your data up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by this.
